Welcome! The blogging experiment begins

Hey everyone-

Welcome to the Science Says blog! In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I have begun this blog in conjunction with a senior writing class, exploring the world of blogs, and their many functions and forms. I hope to use this space to help make public discourse of science, politics, and religion a little more deep and a lot more clear.

I should also admit at this point that I’m an avid supporter of conservation and one of the primary goals of this blog is to cover how issues in the three aforementioned public arenas affect that process.

There’s no reason that people, business, and the planet can’t coexist with a little understanding and ingenuity from each. Thanks for checking in and I hope you’ll all keep an eye on this space.
